Lead Generation Specialist
Role Description
The Lead Generation specialist is part of the Marketing team which is part of the wider Commercial team, comprising Sales, Marketing, Relationship Management and Commercial Training.
The main purpose of the role is to take full ownership of generating marketing qualified leads and be responsible for driving successful Annual Recurring Revenue growth across all sales territories. This includes Introducers, Resellers and Direct
Responsibilities
• Track and increase UQL, MQL and SQLs in key verticals and horizontals
• Cultivate a lead pipeline by identifying and executing lead generation and partnership opportunities in key verticals and horizontals. Including targeted ad schedules.
• Plan and prioritise growth activity across all key verticals and horizontals.
• Collaborate with the wider Commercial team to build on key vertical portfolios - including GTM Plans, cheat sheets, collateral requirements, and events
• Participate in webinars, in-person events, conferences and network with peers and target audience to identify sales opportunities
• Collaborate with marketing and sales team members to work on tasks relevant to lead generation
• Organise and keep the lead status updated in the CRM software
• Cultivate in-depth product knowledge and understanding to demonstrate authentic expertise
• Perform other duties as assigned.
About You - Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Essential
• A strong individual contributor and team player, with proven demand generation capability of B2B Direct or Channel sales
• 2+ years demonstrable success in lead generation / business development role
• Prior experience with B2B events and experience of social selling
• Ability to display professionalism and confidence in all communications, gaining respect, building relationships, reading the audience and influencing outcomes
• Excellent conversational skills; able to talk confidently and passionately and hold engaging conversations
• Adept networking skills
• Demonstrable customer focussed approach
• Critical thinker who is curious, able to ask questions and challenge constructively and be challenged in support of Thrive objectives
