Effective Communication Strategies
To effectively promote Thrive Mental Wellbeing, it's essential to communicate its benefits to your team through various channels. Here are some strategies:
Send a company wide email
Emailing employees is an effective first step to introducing our mental health services. We recommend using text similar to what we have provided here and including this Flyer with the QR code to allow for easy downloading and don't forget to remind employees of your access code.

Did you know you now have direct access to Mental Health support from a team of online therapists through Thrive Mental Wellbeing?
The Thrive Mental Wellbeing app, assesses if you are currently experiencing any symptoms of anxiety, depression or stress and provides you with the tools to help you manage. Additionally, therapists will reach out to you via the app and invite you to speak to them directly. Sessions will be offered via messaging, phone or video call to suit you and your needs and are completely confidential between you and the therapist.
We highly recommend completing the digital Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programme. CBT can help build resilience by changing the way we think and behave. The in-app programme is broken down into short sessions that can be completed at your own pace.
Other evidence-based techniques in the app include Meditation, Calm Breathing and Deep Muscle Relaxation.

Building a network
of support
One of the crucial steps in maximising the visibility of Thrive Mental Wellbeing within your organisation is to engage key internal stakeholders who can play a vital role in driving effective communication efforts. By collaborating with these stakeholders, you create a comprehensive network of support that ensures the success of your mental health promotion initiatives.
HR Teams
Human Resources (HR) teams are at the forefront of employee wellbeing. They possess valuable insights into the organisation's workforce dynamics and can identify areas where mental health support is needed the most. Collaborating with HR teams allows you to integrate mental health services seamlessly into existing employee support frameworks. HR can also play a significant role in communicating the availability of Thrive's services during onboarding, regular employee interactions, and internal communications.
Leaders
Leadership plays a pivotal role in shaping the organisational culture and setting the tone for employee wellbeing. Engaging leaders in the promotion of mental health services demonstrates a commitment from the top down. Leaders can incorporate messages about Thrive Mental Wellbeing in their communications, emphasising the importance of mental health and encouraging their teams to utilise the resources available.
Wellbeing Champions
Wellbeing champions are enthusiastic advocates for employee wellbeing within your organisation. These individuals often volunteer or are appointed to champion wellbeing initiatives and support their colleagues' mental health. Collaborate with these champions to spread awareness about Thrive Mental Wellbeing, encouraging their peers to take advantage of the resources. Wellbeing champions can share their positive experiences, offer guidance on using the app effectively, and create a sense of community around mental health support.
Mental Health First Aiders
Mental Health First Aiders are individuals who are trained to provide initial support to colleagues experiencing mental health challenges. They can help identify signs of distress, offer a listening ear, and provide information about available resources. Engage Mental Health First Aiders to promote Thrive Mental Wellbeing as a valuable addition to their support toolkit. They can guide employees on how to access the service, recommend specific tools within the app, and address common questions or concerns.
Collaborative Efforts
Creating a collaborative effort between these internal stakeholders ensures that the message about Thrive Mental Wellbeing is consistent, widespread, and genuinely impactful. By aligning the perspectives of HR teams, leaders, wellbeing champions, and Mental Health First Aiders, you create a holistic approach that reaches every corner of your organisation. Regular discussions, training sessions, and feedback loops among these stakeholders can refine communication strategies, address challenges, and continuously enhance the promotion of mental health support.
Involving these internal stakeholders not only enhances the visibility of Thrive Mental Wellbeing but also fosters a culture of open dialogue, understanding, and proactive well-being throughout your organisation. By working together, you can create an environment where mental health is a priority, and employees feel empowered to seek support when needed.
