" Since launching Thrive’s in-house therapy app with our colleagues in 2023, we have been able to give them more invaluable opportunities to take control of their own health and wellbeing, with access to support 24/7. Colleagues’ self-care and support is important to us and Thrive’s new in-house therapy app empowers our colleagues to do just that - helping them to live their lives well and improve both their physical & mental wellbeing. The implementation of the new app was seamless, and the level of communication with the Thrive team was friendly and efficient. We were kept up to date every step of the way and any impact on service for our colleagues during this period was minimal, something I am very grateful for. "
We launched Thrive across our UK business in 2022. Since then, it is rapidly becoming one of our go to proactive mental health solutions for National Grid colleagues. One of the key advantages of this product is the ability for the in-app therapy team to proactively reach out via instant message to those that are struggling with anxiety or low mood, as we know that not everyone feels comfortable reaching out when they need help. Thrive also provide a wealth of data and insights which is a necessity for any organisation implementing a strategic approach to corporate wellbeing.
The Health Board launched Thrive Mental Wellbeing to all employees in February 2022 and having personally worked closely with Thrive for over a year, the service has been incredibly beneficial to our staff. Marketing support by Thrive, working together with our communication teams, has ensured we have high awareness of the app with our staff and this is reflected in the number of downloads, which has consistently increased year on year. The Thrive user experience is simple and works differently to other services, as staff are contacted by a Qualified Therapist proactively in the app if they are experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression, and supported with unlimited, timely and confidential therapy. In turn, we’ve seen brilliant clinical outcomes which has positively impacted our sickness absence position.
" We introduced the Thrive Mental Wellbeing service just eight months ago after recognising that our existing in-house app was out of date and not meeting the evolving mental health needs of our workforce. While our app was sufficient during its initial setup and helped us navigate through COVID, we realised it needed to evolve with changing mental health concerns. After reviewing market options, we found Thrive, which ticked all the boxes: universal access, high engagement, strong recovery rates, and design by mental health experts. The results have been exactly what we hoped for—high levels of consistent engagement, with users seeking help and support daily, helping us minimise sickness absence and prioritise the wellbeing of our staff. We are excited to see the new developments with the app and how they will impact our employees."
“Thrive has been a key part of our mental health strategy, allowing us to provide comprehensive Mental Health support to all of our employees in line with their needs. Thrive has something to offer for everyone, with many of our employees using Thrive to access treatment for anxiety and depression, and others using it the keep on top of stress in a fast paced industry! The first 12 months of our partnership with Thrive has been a success, with a fair proportion of our staff engaging with the Thrive service. The overwhelming majority of those who have symptoms of mental health conditions have accepted reach-out from Thrive’s therapists and, ultimately, fully recovered from those conditions. We are excited to continue working together with Thrive, and are looking forward to our extension to Thrive’s 24/7 coverage.”
